Crewe is a railway town and civil parish within the borough of Cheshire East, 35 miles (56km) south of Manchester and 158 miles (254 km) north of London. It has excellent road and rail connections to both the north and south of England, as well as to North Wales. Our university campus is less than a mile from Crewe Station.

Getting to us

By train

The nearest railway station to The University of ³Ô¹ÏÍø North is:

  • Crewe (0.6 miles / 0.9 km away)
  • Stoke on Trent (16.5 miles / 26.5 km away)

From the train stations, you can get to Crewe Campus via bus, taxi, cycling or a short walk.

Walking: It is a short 10-12 minute walk from Crewe station to the Campus

°Õ²¹³æ¾±:ÌýThere is a taxi rank outside Crewe and Stoke-on-Trent railway stations.

The journey takes

3 minutes from Crewe railway station.

20 -30 minutes from Stoke-on-Trent railway station

°ä²â³¦±ô±ð:ÌýFrom Crewe railway station it’s a quick 5 minutes cycle ride to the campus.

It’s a 1 hour 2o minute cycle from Stoke-on-Trent railway station.

By car

Use the M6 exiting at junction 16 followed by the A500 and then the A5020 to reach Crewe; or exit the M6 at junction 17 and follow the A534 to Crewe.

By air

Heathrow airport
Take the Heathrow Underground to London Euston. Then take an over ground train route north, as outlined above.

Gatwick airport
Take bus 26 from the North Terminal (stop 4) to Stockwell Station, followed by the Underground (Victoria line) to London Euston. Then take an over ground train route north, as outlined above.

Manchester airport
There is a Northern train every hour from the airport train station to Crewe; the journey takes approximately 40 minutes.

Birmingham airport
There are four services an hour from Birmingham International to Crewe; journey times vary from 1 hour 11 minutes to 1 hour 31 minutes.
